I love malayalam movies, the script is so unique and the fights are close to the real life. Be prepared for a disturbing end if you want to watch this movie. I personally tried anticipating the story and failed, this movie kept me engaging till the very end. Joju George did really well in both the characters. You can literally see all the emotions that the characters feels. But the only negative about the script is *w anjali was able to move in with a police office right after her husband went to the jail. But anjali is not so relevant to the story, that live story really doesn't make a difference.

"Iratta" is a gripping and intense film that tells the story of identical twins Vinod and Pramod, brilliantly portrayed by Joju George. The film masterfully blends elements of drama and thriller, resulting in a captivating cinematic experience. One of the most striking aspects of the film is its treatment. The director has taken great care in crafting a visually stunning film, with beautiful s*ts and a color palette that perfectly complements the mood of each scene. Additionally, the pacing of the film is spot on, with just the right amount of tension and suspense to keep the audience engaged throug*ut. The acting in "Iratta" is truly outstanding. Joju George, Anjali and Arya Salim and the rest of the team is splendid. Their performances are nuanced and emotional, with moments of tenderness, humor, and intensity that bring the characters to life on the screen. Joju brings a sense of authenticity to his roles, with each character possessing a distinct personality and mannerism. Overall, "Iratta" is a must-see and well-crafted film for fans of drama and thriller genres and of course of Joju George. With its top-notch treatment, excellent acting, and engrossing storyline, it is a film that will leave a lasting impression on audiences.

Iratta is a w*dunnit thriller is strong emotional affair too. An ASI Vinod dies in the police station due to bullet wounds leading to 3 other policemen turned into suspects. The incident occurs while they were prepping for an event outside the police station, filled with media. It turns into an high priority case and ASI Vinod's twin brother DySP Pramod joins the investigation. Far more dark secrets come out as he starts unraveling the mystery behind his brother's death. The first act starts on strong note with the three suspects giving their versions of what kind of a person ASI Vinod was while also shedding light on his own enmity with the twin brother. The mystery behind the death is well maintained till the third act which was commendable. The second act tries to pack a bit too much with the flashback involving the twins' child*od days and their abusive father along with the flashback involving Vinod's own redemption after falling in love. But it is the third act which gives a solid twist, wit*ut shying away from the dark nature of the reveal. The narrative indeed reaches it's emotional peak and the performance by Joju George as both Vinod and Pramod elevates the scenes perfectly. If the second act had been better balanced then it would've complimented the third act even more. Iratta is still worth watching for a good thriller movie led by a solid performance by Joju George.

T*ught.this would be something like 'Thadam'. But man, this is next level. Even t*ugh the location and the plot is so simple, yet it is so captivating. The simplicity is what worked for the film. Every little detail leading upto the incredible climax. Joju Geroge is just fantastic. While some may say that the entirity of the film is slow-paced and average,I like it the best. The backstory of the twins is so convincing. It contains the perfect amount of suspense, nothing overboard. Every characters have done justice to their roles. It would not be a suprise if Bollywood come with a remake of this very soon.

Inspired by Korean flick "OLD BOY" director takes a p*ionate and well crafted detailed investigative crime thriller that elevates to a various subplots that surprises u with it's non linear screenplay, keeps u glued until the final act of climax that gives u a s*cker ..... With twin characters that too not much difference in appearance joju George manages to pull out a extraordinary performance with his Body mannerism s*uld raise ur eyebrows... Manu Antony editing is a major *et of the film that equally plays a final act of climax wit*ut mind bending or clueless ending proves *w a careless parental can be a serious threat to the concerned baby... Vijay's camera work adds a midas touch the plot and joju George involvement in production team proves his p*ion for cinema... Don't miss this genuine piece of cinema.

RATED 8/10 language: Malayalam Source: Netflix RECOMMENDED The movie is slow and steady till end. There are simple and unique events from the beginning to end. The acting and revealing the characters of everyone in each scene is brilliant. The movie takes it own time to set the base and explain each and everyone's character. The thrill factor is kept well throug*ut the movie. And comes the climax with heavy impact. The climax reminds me of the movie "old boy" climax. The face reaction of Joju George on climax scene is ultimate and unforgettable. It is haunting even after the movie. Must watch for the cl*ic making.

It's been 2-3 days since I watched the movie but I still keep thinking about it, that's *w powerful this movie, the climax is something that will haunt you for days. It's quite sad this movie wasn't that successful in theaters because it deserves a lot more attention. Director even t*ugh was new, you barely notice that in the direction. Screenplay was so well written. Joju was exceptional in both roles, he is currently 1 of the best in Malayalam cinema. Jithu ashref was outstanding in his small role, he will have his own spot in the industry soon. The 2 Miscast in the movie was srinda and Arya salim, both are really good actors but some reason, didn't blend well in these roles.

'Iratta' proved again why Malayalam Cinema is the best right now. 'Iratta' means Twin, it's the story of 2 twin brothers and a murder mystery. The screenplay was non-linear and it was important to s*w it in this way as through this they've s*wn the past lives of the lead characters. While watching this you may predict certain things but then you'll be facing that big climax. It'll be very hard to digest that climax as it's too much disturbing. By this the film also delivers some strong social messages. Joju George as both the twin brothers nailed it. He successfully made us feel for both the characters equally, screenplay and direction does the rest. Both the BGM and the songs were used in perfect scenario. 'Thaaraattayi' will haunt me whenever I'll listen to it. A MUST WATCH. Available on Netflix. © MandalBros.

A mystery thriller, as usual Joju George did one of his best performance. An unique way of narration and somewhat unpredictable twist. Saying about the twist, I didn't expect an end like this. A well deserving climax to a wonderfully s*ot thriller movie. For some audience the climax might feel like a disturbing one. But this kind of disturbing end is inevitable for a movie like this. Mollywood film industry produced lots of double role characters in the history of Malayalam movies. No other double role characters which I saw before made any perfect sense comparing with 'Iratta'. Perfectly delivered script with a proper ending !!!

What do you say about a cinema where you are just gobsmacked to the core. When you had had an experience that can be best described or rather words fall s*rt to describe it. Splendid, Marvelous, Brilliant, seem less in comparison. Having being an ardent fan of Cinema coming out of Malayalam industry, one thing that never disappointed me was the lack of content but recent history has not been their best. But as we all know and can agree that Malayalam industry at it's worst is still the finest of all, imagine what they do when they are at the top of their game. And that's exactly what Iratta is. CINEMA at it's finest best. Just watch it.
