Fun little Tubi original thriller. An interesting mystery set in a up market hotel that happens to be hit with a hurricane. The set up is good and it does have some interesting twists and turns. The Tubi Original whodunnits are entertaining and this one is one of the better ones available. To give the movie credit, I did not see the ending coming, so in my book, that makes the movie more enjoyable. Not much gore, has a bit of a body count, but it is a made for Tubi movie, so the violence isn't really graphic. All up, this is an entertaining film that will keep you guessing right to the end. I do recommend this.

"Five Star Murder" takes audiences on a thrilling ride through a suspenseful tale of mystery, murder, and hidden secrets. Set within the luxurious confines of a high-end hotel, the film introduces us to an unlikely duo: a suave concierge and a headstrong guest. Together, they form an unconventional investigative team that delves deep into the dark underbelly of the hotel's seemingly pristine façade. As a storm rages outside, the tension inside the hotel escalates when a shocking murder occurs. The concierge and the guest find themselves entangled in a web of intrigue as they race against time to unravel the truth behind the crime. With each new revelation, the complexities of the characters' relationships come to light, painting a vivid picture of jealousy, betrayal, and hidden motives. What sets "Five Star Murder" apart is its masterful execution of suspense. The storm, acting as both a physical and metaphorical barrier, traps a group of ruthless hidden-treasure hunters within the hotel's walls. This dynamic backdrop creates an atmosphere of palpable tension, allowing suspicion to fester among the characters. Every interaction is charged with suspicion and the fear that the next victim could be anyone. The cast delivers commendable performances, adding depth and authenticity to their respective roles. The concierge's suave demeanor and the guest's determined attitude create a dynamic chemistry that fuels the investigation. The ensemble of characters, from the enigmatic treasure hunters to the hotel staff with their own secrets, keeps the audience guessing until the final reveal. The film's direction and cinematography work in harmony to amplify the sense of isolation and impending danger. The luxurious setting becomes a claustrophobic labyrinth, mirroring the intricate plot twists that unfold. The storm, acting as both an ally and an adversary, heightens the stakes as it becomes a pivotal element in the characters' fight for survival. While "Five Star Murder" successfully captivates the audience with its riveting premise and skillful execution, it occasionally struggles to maintain a consistent pacing. The intricate plot can at times feel convoluted, demanding close attention from viewers to keep up with the myriad of clues and red herrings. In conclusion, "Five Star Murder" is a gripping mystery that combines the elegance of a high-end hotel with the sinister undercurrents of a murder investigation. It skillfully weaves together elements of suspense, drama, and intrigue, making it a worthwhile watch for fans of the genre. With its atmospheric setting, strong performances, and a narrative that keeps you guessing until the final moments, the film serves up a compelling tale of deception, greed, and ultimately, justice.

Very good movie. It is fast paced whodunnit.. ending leaves option for a follow up movie. Very well put together.. You have to watch and listen carefully to follow.. no idea at the beginning how the characters are related. It leaves you guessing and wondering and then when you think you understand its not what you think.. its not as easy as you think to figure out what happens and who is doing what . I had to go back and watch some parts over but I did not mind.. the movie is that good.. and it took me awhile to figure out the meaning of a 'hunter'..which is the first time I ever heard it and dont know if there is such a person, but I can see where it might be true.
