In this video I talk through one of the most frightening self-defense situations I've faced. This night involved a short car chase, two assailants and a late night dark road. This was a full-on self-defense situation, one of those really intense and frightening experiences that lives with you from that day on. The question is, did my history of boxing training help me? Was I able to leverage the skills that I'd learned during my years of boxing training to help me get through the situation? Well, the answer of whether my boxing training assisted with self-defense is 'yes', but probably not in ways that you might think.
