These chicken wontons are ultra crispy, golden, and packed with flavour, just how we like them. The filling is savoury, a little spicy, and full of juicy texture thanks to finely chopped chicken and scallions. Fried until crisp and served with a sweet-spicy dipping sauce that clings to every bite, these are the kind of wontons that disappear faster than you think. They’re easy to make, fun to fold, and perfect for sharing, whether you’re serving them as an appetizer, party snack, or late-night treat. Just don’t skip the sauce. It’s simple, punchy, and balances everything beautifully. 🥟 INGREDIENTS (Makes ~40 wontons): For the filling: • 40 wonton wrappers • 300g chicken, finely chopped • 1 tbsp light soy sauce • 1 tsp white pepper • 2 tsp sriracha or other hot sauce • Salt to taste • ½ tsp black pepper • ½ tsp coconut oil • 3 scallion onion greens, finely chopped • ½” (1cm) piece fresh ginger, finely chopped For the dipping sauce: • 3 tbsp ketchup • 1½ tbsp light soy sauce • 1 tbsp sriracha or other hot sauce • 1½ tbsp brown sugar • 1 tsp cornflour • ¼ cup water • Sesame seeds to taste 🎶 Music: Clear Air - Somewhere Sunny by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/...
