Claressa Shields has made some controversial comments about the possibility of stepping into the ring with a former male world champion, Rolando “Rolly” Romero, arguing that if the fight were based purely on boxing skill, she believes she could beat him. But that raises a much bigger question: Are boxing matches really won by skill alone? In this reaction, I break down Claressa’s interviews, Romero’s comments, and some of the pushback her claims have received from the boxing community. While there’s no denying Claressa Shields is one of the most technically accomplished boxers of her generation, I question whether her confidence in beating Romero is based on an overly simplistic view of what actually determines the outcome of a fight. Boxing isn't just about who has the better technique. Fitness, physical strength, power, pressure, durability, resilience, size, timing, composure and the ability to impose your game plan under fire can all play a decisive role. So is Claressa Shields simply confident in her abilities—or has her confidence crossed into delusion? In this video, I give my honest reaction to the controversy and explain why being the more skilled boxer doesn't automatically mean you're going to win the fight. Do you think Claressa Shields could beat Rolando Romero in a boxing match based purely on skill? Or is she underestimating the other factors that make a fighter dangerous? Let me know what you think in the comments. #ClaressaShields #RolandoRomero #Boxing #BoxingReaction #WomensBoxing #MensBoxing #BoxingControversy #Salbox -------------------- ╔═╦╗╔╦╗╔═╦═╦╦╦╦╗╔═╗ ║╚╣║║║╚╣╚╣╔╣╔╣║╚╣═╣ ╠╗║╚╝║║╠╗║╚╣║║║║║═╣ ╚═╩══╩═╩═╩═╩╝╚╩═╩═╝ to the channel people 00:00 Intro 1:45 Round 1 4:15 Round 2 8:25 Round 3 11:35 Round 4 -------------------- Follow me insta @charlessalbox facebook @charlessalbox #boxing #usaboxing #boxeocubano #canelo
