With the introduction of The Outsiders in WCW, this mantra came to fruition. However, there seems to be exceptions to every rule when it comes to Eric Bischoff, because he also decided to create The Glacier character, a character he thought would be big money. The WCW debut of Glacier was but on hold as the nWo storyline took over WCW programming in mid 1996. This didn't stop WCW constantly airing vignettes and hype videos regarding the debut of this Sub Zero inspired character. In maybe a case of too much hype, Glacier eventually made his debut on TV screens and the similarities to another huge selling franchise at the time were really hard to miss. Soon after his debut, Glacier would begin feuding with Mortis and Wrath in a storyline dubbed "Blood Runs Cold", and in a reality based WCW, things didn't go quite the way Eric Bischoff envisioned. This mini documentary from Wrestling Bios takes a look at The Glacier character in WCW. Topics covered include: 00:30 - Eric Bischoff wanting to create a more realistic wrestling show 01:49 - Raymond Llyod, the man who portrayed Glacier in WCW 04:30 - The "Blood Runs Cold" Glacier debut vignettes 06:31 - Sub Zero in WCW 07:07 - The Glacier WCW Entrance 09:00 - The making of Glacier's ring gear and entrance effects 11:03 - Wrath and Mortis 13:28 - WCW gives up on the "Blood Runs Cold" Storyline 14:44 - Glacier turns heel 16:45 - The return of Glacier - Much More! #wcw #wrestling #documentary
