An overall review, it is a bit enjoyable to watch the fellas in a movie, but let's say it is missing a lot. The animation is nearly identical to the old one, which I do not hate, it brings a nostalgic feeling, but they surely could have upped the frames a bit, I noticed a somewhat laggy transitions, which could be easily fixed with today's tech. I can't help but notice that both of their new movies lack a good storyline, which makes me feel that they succeed more in short animations, maybe because it is aimed more at children, though I still think they need better writing for their movies. An overall review, it is a bit enjoyable to watch the fellas in a movie, but let's say it is missing a lot.

As someone who grow up with Tom and Jerry, with original series of course.. I've never watched anything else from them, and last week, on my list for holiday I added, and.. I watched Tom and Jerry A Nutcracker Tale, for which I wrote review as one of the best, not only animated, usually, movies for holidays ever, and must have for!! With that, I was like.. I should give it a shoot rest.. Well, this Cowboy ain't one of the best shooters! But ain't bad either! I would say like this! Tom and Jerry, and their pals from original, as classes as they are, now many years on scene, hahahahaha, they done perfect as usual! They're are Ups in their own movie, and they keep him up, but downs is.. rest of the scene, with all due respect, they had their moments, as few good musicals for kids, for adults, might work as relaxation, but that other scenes.. they are downs! For Tom and Jerry and their pals, 10! Rest, ah.. 6, sometimes and 4, in the end, I would give less then 9 im the end, but rating deserve to be bigger then 5, so.. Had to push my pals, I owe them childhood!

Bentley has come home to an old west town. He's not the success that he claimed to be. He and his sister Betty have to protect the family farm from wanted bank robber and forger August Critchley. August has been grabbing all the land around them. Bentley has brought along his cat Tom. There is Jerry the mouse and his three young nephews. There is also an underground city of prairie dogs. I can do without the nephews. I would also like to keep the prairie dogs as background animals, only to be brought out for a climatic takedown of the villain. They also don't need a smarter cat. Jerry already has that role. He's the smarter 'cat'. I don't like all the villain cats. What they need is one Spike the dog. I still do love the Tom and Jerry interactions, but they've added so much unnecessary stuff around them. As for the human story, I guess the movie needs something to wrap around Tom and Jerry. It's not the best, but there is a need for it. As Betty says, this is too much.

This film start with a man catching a prairie dog, and a bunch of prairie dogs singing together scene! As turnout, this film is about a cat "Tom", and a mouse "Jerry" need to team up together to defeat a villain "August" who targeted their owner's house! Entire film full of funny action scene of Tom, Jerry, the villain cats, the prairie dogs, and Jerry's nephew! Make the film quite watchable! At the end, after August been captured, Tom, and Jerry started the gold mining business! That's it! A quite entertain film!

Maybe for children who weren't growing up watching Tom & Jerry this movie might be entertaining. But for the rest of us this is not what it used to be. Disappointing.

U know , there was a time that every tool was simple but they made masterpieces and nowadays that the science have been improved and they have many things to make a good movie but they just make trashes. There was a lots of animations in the past They were for kids too but the graphics, the voices and everything was amazing that even adults would watch them and till now people still watch them. I dont know where are we going.in 2021 and 2022 i didnt see any strong movie that give goosebumps.

Absolutely terrible movie! I loved watching the classic Tom and Jerry as a kid and this is the worst one I've ever seen. The sounds are weird, the animation style is awful, the storyline makes no sense... would not recommend.

I'm a teenage girl but I love Tom and Jerry especially movies. This movie is wonderful, very interesting for all ages including adults. I'm sure that everyone loves it!!!

I sat down to watch the 2022 animated movie "Tom and Jerry: Cowboy Up!" with my 11 year old son. Sure, I had grown up watching Tom and Jerry cartoons on morning TV, so I figured why not watch this one for old times sake. And while "Tom and Jerry: Cowboy Up!" was watchable, it just wasn't an outstanding animated movie. I will say that my son definitely enjoyed it a lot more than I did. But it was fun to watch the cat and mouse on the screen again, I will give them that much. The storyline told in "Tom and Jerry: Cowboy Up!" just didn't really capture my interest all that much, so it wasn't a particularly thrilling or funny movie to sit through. But hey, it is all a matter of individual taste and preference, of course. So writers Will Finn and William Waldner just didn't deliver something wholesome for my liking. The art and animation in this 2022 was good, no doubt about that. And it was visually pleasing on the eyes to watch "Tom and Jerry: Cowboy Up!". Lots of nice details. My rating of "Tom and Jerry: Cowboy Up!" from director Darrell Van Citters lands on a five out of ten stars.
