What’s up guys, it’s Paul. And today, we’re talking about one of the most unique rising fighters in the UFC — Quillan Salkilld. Australia has produced some serious fighters. Alexander Volkanovski. Robert Whittaker. Jack Della Maddalena. Tai Tuivasa. But Quillan Salkilld feels different. He is not just another tough Australian prospect. He is fast, awkward, explosive, confident, and already building a reputation as one of the most exciting young fighters in the lightweight division. According to UFC’s own profile, Salkilld is from Pinjarra, Australia, and his UFC debut ended in just 19 seconds when he stopped Anshul Jubli at UFC 312. And since then, the hype has only grown. UFC described his rise as “speed-running” the lightweight division, noting that in just over a year he went from an unheralded Australian prospect to a rising star in one of the deepest divisions in the sport. In this video, I break down: – who Quillan Salkilld is – why his style feels so unusual – his explosive UFC debut – his Australian fighting mentality – his finishing instinct – why the lightweight division should be paying attention – and whether Quillan Salkilld could become Australia’s next major UFC star He is confident. He is dangerous. He is unpredictable. And every time he fights, it feels like something crazy can happen. Quillan Salkilld may not be a household name yet. But he might be very soon. 💬 Is Quillan Salkilld the future of Australian MMA? 👍 Drop a like if you want more videos about rising UFC prospects 🔔 Subscribe for more UFC, MMA, and boxing documentaries every week
