#documentary #muaythai #sports #fighting This is the story of Nico Carrillo — known as The King of the North. From his rise through Muay Thai to competing on ONE Championship, this documentary follows Nico through one of the most defining periods of his career, including his fight against Luke Lessei. Filmed across training camps and personal moments, the film explores the relationships and experiences that shape him both as a fighter and as a man. At the center of Nico’s journey is his bond with his lifelong best friend and coach JP Gallacher, forged through years of shared struggle and belief. We see his daily life and preparation at Bangtao Muay Thai & MMA, where discipline, sacrifice, and consistency define the work behind the spotlight. The film also shows the quieter side of the fight life — Nico’s relationship with his wife Aimee, and the grounding force she provides away from the gym. Driving everything is purpose. Nico’s path is deeply shaped by the loss of his close friend Jordan Coe, a Muay Thai fighter whose death left a lasting mark on Nico’s life. Fighting is no longer just competition — it’s legacy, remembrance, and meaning. This is not just a fight documentary. It’s a story about loyalty, loss, and why some fighters refuse to quit.
