In this week’s episode of the Spout Podcast, Nick Major sits down with British singer-songwriter Myles Smith, and performs in front of a live studio audience! Myles opens up about his journey from studying sociology at the University of Nottingham to making waves in the music industry. He shares what it’s been like performing in new cities, playing his first U.S. stadium shows, and even being featured on the jumbotron at a Mariners game. Myles dives into his early music influences, from Green Day and Slipknot to Ed Sheeran, and how his diverse taste shaped his career. He also talks about his upcoming tour with two-time Spout guest Ed Sheeran, his connection with South Africa, and his plans to release a full-length album next year. Plus, you'll hear some fun moments, like how a $250 bet led him to stop eating meat, and the surreal experience of hearing thousands sing his lyrics back to him. Whether you're a long-time fan or new to Myles Smith, this episode has something for everyone. This episode is sponsored by BetterHelp.
