On May 27, 2017, at Bramall Lane in Sheffield, England, IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook defended his title against unbeaten mandatory challenger Errol Spence Jr. in one of the year's most anticipated welterweight clashes. Coming into the fight, Brook was 36–1 (25 KOs), while Spence Jr. held a perfect record of 21–0 (18 KOs). Brook enjoyed success early with his sharp jab, timing, and counterpunching, but Spence steadily increased the pressure, investing heavily in body shots and powerful combinations. As the fight wore on, Spence's relentless pace began to break the champion down. In the 10th round, Spence scored a knockdown after trapping Brook on the ropes with a sustained attack. Brook, who was suffering from a fractured left eye socket, took another knee in the 11th round, prompting the referee to stop the fight at 1:47 of the round, awarding Spence a KO victory and his first world title. 📍 Date: May 27, 2017 📍 Venue: Bramall Lane 📍 Location: Sheffield, England 🏆 Title: IBF Welterweight Championship 🥊 Result: Spence Jr. wins by KO (Round 11, 1:47) ⏱️ Rounds: 12-Round Title Fight 📊 Records at the time of fight: Kell Brook: 36–1 (25 KOs) Errol Spence Jr.: 21–0 (18 KOs) 🔥 A career-defining victory where Spence battered and bruised the hometown champion with relentless body work and pressure, capturing his first world title in enemy territory. -------------------- ╔═╦╗╔╦╗╔═╦═╦╦╦╦╗╔═╗ ║╚╣║║║╚╣╚╣╔╣╔╣║╚╣═╣ ╠╗║╚╝║║╠╗║╚╣║║║║║═╣ ╚═╩══╩═╩═╩═╩╝╚╩═╩═╝ to the channel people 00:00 Intro 2:45 Round 1 5:15 Round 2 7:25 Round 3 9:35 Round 4 -------------------- Follow me insta @charlessalbox facebook @charlessalbox #boxing #usaboxing #boxeocubano #canelo
