Título: Musical Abacus - Key signatures Descripción: The C Major Scale is first considered and their notes are sorted by perfect fifths. Then, by adding notes above them the scales with sharps are obtained, as well as the order of sharps. Similarly, by adding notes below them the scales with flats are obtained, as well as the order of flats. All the keys are arranged in the Cycle of Fifths. The major scales can also be obtained by connecting tetrachords. Nuño Fernández, L. (2017). Musical Abacus - Key signatures. With 3 major chords, the major key is obtained, as well as its corresponding major scale. Then, the minor consonant chord is built in an artificial way. With 3 minor chords, the minor key is obtained, as well as its corresponding minor scale. The natural, harmonic and melodic minor scales are explained. It is also indicated which are the main chords in a key. The concept of consonance is one of the basic principles in Western music. Nuño Fernández, L. (2016). Chords and Keys.
