The first fight between Devin Haney and George Kambosos Jr. took place on June 5, 2022, at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. In a highly anticipated bout, Haney delivered a boxing masterclass, using his superior jab and slick movement to control the pace of the fight. He neutralized Kambosos’ offense by consistently landing clean shots while maintaining distance, frustrating the Australian champion. Haney's ability to dictate the action earned him a unanimous decision victory, with all three judges scoring the fight in his favor (116-112, 118-110, 116-112). As a result, Haney became the undisputed lightweight champion, unifying all the major belts in the division. Kambosos, known for his toughness and aggressive style, tried to rally in the later rounds, but Haney’s technical prowess proved too much for him to overcome. This fight solidified Haney’s position as one of the elite fighters in the lightweight division Like always let me know what you think down below in the comments. ╔═╦╗╔╦╗╔═╦═╦╦╦╦╗╔═╗ ║╚╣║║║╚╣╚╣╔╣╔╣║╚╣═╣ ╠╗║╚╝║║╠╗║╚╣║║║║║═╣ ╚═╩══╩═╩═╩═╩╝╚╩═╩═╝ to the channel people -------------------- 00:00 Intro 1:42 Round 1 5:58 Round 2 10:01 Round 3 -------------------- ✅Follow me ✅ insta @charlessalbox facebook @charlessalbox Footage rights provided by WSC Sports - https://tinyurl.com/charlessalbox #boxing #usa #australia
