What’s up guys, it’s Paul. And honestly… this was one of the most heartbreaking endings to a UFC comeback I have ever seen. For weeks, Conor McGregor promised that Max Holloway would not survive their rematch. He mocked Max, dismissed the possibility of a trilogy, and even predicted that Holloway would retire after UFC 329. Then the cage door closed. But instead of witnessing another legendary Mystic Mac performance, the fight ended after only 69 seconds. Conor opened aggressively, throwing explosive kicks and trying to remind everyone of the unpredictable fighter who once conquered two UFC divisions. But something immediately looked wrong. After several kicks and awkward slips, McGregor’s right leg appeared to buckle beneath him. Holloway moved forward, Conor struggled to remain standing, and the referee was forced to stop the fight. Max Holloway officially won by first-round TKO due to injury. But this did not feel like a normal victory. Holloway did not truly get the chance to prove that he had become the better fighter. Conor did not get the chance to show whether his five-year comeback could succeed. Instead, another major McGregor fight ended because his body failed him. In this video, I break down: – the trash talk before UFC 329 – Conor’s prediction that Holloway would retire – the intense build-up to their rematch – what happened during the opening 69 seconds – the moment McGregor’s leg appeared to buckle – Holloway’s reaction after the stoppage – and what this devastating injury could mean for Conor’s future Max Holloway finally got revenge for their first fight. But nobody imagined it would happen like this. 💬 Should the UFC make a trilogy if Conor recovers, or was this the end of his legendary career? 👍 Drop a like if you were heartbroken by the ending 🔔 Subscribe for more UFC, MMA, and boxing content every week
