Welcome back! Get a chance to relive the story of Triple H against John Cena heading into the Night Of Champions PPV of 2008. In the intricate chess game of WWE, the plot thickened on the June 2 episode of Raw as John Cena clashed with Jeff Hardy. The stakes were high, with the tantalizing promise that the victor would earn a coveted title shot against Triple H at Night of Champions. Cena emerged triumphant, securing his ticket to challenge Triple H for the championship. However, the WWE landscape underwent a seismic shift during the fifth annual WWE Draft on the June 23 episode of Raw. In a twist of fate, Triple H found himself drafted to the SmackDown brand, creating a ripple effect that rendered the WWE Championship exclusive to SmackDown. Yet, the spirit of competition refused to be confined by brand boundaries. On the June 27 episode of SmackDown, a revelation unfolded: Triple H, despite the draft, remained committed to defending his title. The stage was set for an epic showdown as Cena and Triple H, now on separate brands, prepared to engage in a clash that transcended brand loyalty and showcased the essence of true championship spirit.
