If you’ve got a Ryzen 9800X3D or you’re thinking about picking one up, you need to watch this. As a matter of fact this will work for ALL RYZEN CPUs. A lot of users have been reporting high temps and power draw with this chip—even in gaming—and I decided to take a closer look to see what’s really going on. In this video, I’ll show you what I discovered through testing, how it compares to other CPUs, and what you can actually do to cool things down without sacrificing performance. Whether you’re on air, AIO, or in a small form factor build, this might just be the tweak you didn’t know you needed. 00:00 Intro 01:00 The Problem, HOT 9800X3D 02:36 AMD Precision boost 2 03:45 Dying 9800X3Ds, lots of returns? 04:49 Stock Boost Specs 06:12 Power Specs too high? 06:41 Test Specs 07:14 Stock Behavior, high temps 09:09 THE SOLUTION 10:50 Cinebench R23 12:15 Last of Us 2 14:41 Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 15:20 Cyberpunk 2077 15:45 Spiderman 2, MH Wilds, BLACK OPS 6 16:14 Conclusion 💻 MY TEST BENCH SPECS: • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (Overclocked @ 5.4GHz) • RAM: 32GB DDR5 6200MHz CL28 (Tuned) • Motherboard: MSI X870 Tomahawk WiFi • GPU: Nvidia RTX 4090 • Storage: 4TB Corsair MP600 Pro LPX NVMe SSD ****Support the channel by donating!***** https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=TVURNDYCYKK4L *****Follow me on Twitter https://twitter.com/DannyzReviews Use my affiliate links to purchase parts and support the channel! https://amzn.to/3IAAzAG Intel 13/14th gen CPUs here: https://amzn.to/40Vt4g1 Ryzen 7 9800X3D here: https://amzn.to/3VfW5lW Buy RTX 50 series: https://amzn.to/4hoyIOA Buy AMD RX 9070 Series: https://amzn.to/4hvjKGC https://youtu.be/I8DJITHWdaA https://youtu.be/LcQUUmi3rWI https://youtu.be/zSW_00jjeKI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cM34YINPjc #Ryzen9800X3D #AMD #RX9070XT #Nvidia #AI
