World Series Of Jiujitsu Atlanta Match 13 8/19/23 00:21 Sweet takedown. Notice how he blocked the right foot with his foot. 00:57 Top guy achieves the gift wrap. He holds it a long time. IMO he could have gotten some good results going for an arm triangle / kata gatame. There would be little risk he could still maintain the pin. 01:42 Top Guy attacks the armbar and gets the tap. The bottom guy had a few chances to escape and get on top and by attempting to pull his arm out he most likely allowed the armbar to be finished. Again Imo the kata gatame was a much lower risk attack to preform. But all is well that ends well. Victory Via Armbar. Note: The Playlists are arranged by technique. This allows you to see the things that are actually being used in competition. There is very little variation in what works. I believe studying these playlists will allow you to make the most of your training time by focusing on escaping and executing these relatively few but common techniques If you see yourself in one of these videos and want your name added please let us know.
