On January 13, 2024, at the Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, undisputed light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev defended his WBC, IBF, and WBO titles against former super middleweight champion Callum Smith in a high-level world title clash. Coming into the fight, Beterbiev was 19–0 (19 KOs), while Smith held a record of 29–1 (21 KOs). Smith started competitively, using his height, reach, and boxing ability to try to keep Beterbiev at range. However, Beterbiev’s relentless pressure, physical strength, and devastating power gradually took over as he broke through Smith’s defence. In the seventh round, Beterbiev dropped Smith twice after a brutal assault. Smith managed to beat the count after the second knockdown, but his corner stopped the fight, giving Beterbiev a TKO victory at 2:00 of Round 7. 📍 Date: January 13, 2024 📍 Venue: Centre Videotron 📍 Location: Quebec City, Quebec, Canada 🏆 Title: WBC • IBF • WBO Light Heavyweight Championships 🥊 Result: Beterbiev wins by TKO (Round 7, 2:00) ⏱️ Rounds: 12-Round Title Fight 📊 Records at the time of fight: Artur Beterbiev: 19–0 (19 KOs) Callum Smith: 29–1 (21 KOs) 🔥 A brutal display of Beterbiev’s trademark pressure and power, as he became the first fighter to stop Callum Smith and maintained his reputation as one of boxing’s most destructive champions. -------------------- ╔═╦╗╔╦╗╔═╦═╦╦╦╦╗╔═╗ ║╚╣║║║╚╣╚╣╔╣╔╣║╚╣═╣ ╠╗║╚╝║║╠╗║╚╣║║║║║═╣ ╚═╩══╩═╩═╩═╩╝╚╩═╩═╝ to the channel people 00:00 Intro 2:45 Round 1 5:15 Round 2 7:25 Round 3 9:35 Round 4 -------------------- Follow me insta @charlessalbox facebook @charlessalbox #boxing #usaboxing #boxeocubano #canelo
